CURRIED PEAS

1 package (10 ounces) frozen green peas
2 tablespoons chopped onion
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups milk

Cook peas as directed on package; drain. Cook and stir onion in margarine until tender; remove from heat. Stir in flour, curry powder and salt. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Gently stir in peas and heat through.
4 servings.
