QUICK CUBE STEAKS

2 cube steaks
1 tbsp each butter and oil
1 large onion sliced
1 large green pepper sliced
salt and pepper
2 thick slices American cheese

brown steaks on both sides in butter and oil. Near end of browning time add onion and green pepper and saute lightly. Cover and cook until fork tender about 30 minutes. Place cheese slices on top and heat until melted.
