SAUTEED GREEN AND RED PEPPERS

2 slices bacon, cut up
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
2 green peppers, cut into 1/2 inch strips
2 red peppers, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 small onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon cumin seed
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
Snipped cilantro or parsley

Cook and stir bacon in margarine in 10-inch skillet until crisp; remove bacon with slotted spoon and drain. Cook and stir green and red peppers and onion in bacon fat mixture over medium-high heat 2 minutes. Add bacon and remaining ingredients except sour cream and cilantro. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer uncovered 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream; sprinkle with cilantro.

6 servings.
