PINEAPPLE COOKIES

1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
1/2 CUP BUTTER
1 EGG
½ TEASPOON BAKING SODA
½ TEASPOON SALT
1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
2 CUPS FLOUR
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
3/4 CUP CRUSHED PINEAPPLE (undrained)
1/2 CUP CHOPPED NUTS

MIX INGREDIENTS TOGETHER AND DROP BY SPOONFULS ON GREASED BAKING SHEET. BAKE AT 375 DEGREES FOR 12 TO 15 MINUTES.

CREAM BUTTER UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. GRADUALLY ADD SUGAR AND BEAT WELL. BEAT IN EGG AND VANILLA. STIR IN PINEAPPLE, SIFTED DRY INGREDIENTS & NUTS.
