1 bone-in spiral-sliced ham, or traditional bone-in ham
1/2 gallon orange juice
2 star anise
2 cinnamon sticks
3 cloves, whole
1 cup maple syrup
Prepare and heat ham according to package directions.
To prepare glaze, place orange juice, star anise, cinnamon' and cloves in a saucepan and heat until reduced to 1 cup. Remove from stove; add maple syrup. Strain and cool.
Brush glaze on your ham 30 minutes before meat is done. Heat ham uncovered for final 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve.
Cooking time: 2 to 2-1/2 hours
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Makes 15 to 20 servings.
