1/3 powdered sugar
1cup margarine or butter soften
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 tsp. almond extract
1 package small package of pistachio pudding
1 egg
2 cups unbleached flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 to 3 tsp. milk
3 to 5 drops of red or green food die
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, cream 1/3cup powdered sugar, 1cup of butter,1 teaspoon of vanilla and almond extract,pudding mix,and egg in your bowl until well blended.Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup By hand, bit by bit stir in flour and 1/2 cup of chocolate chips until well blended shape into 1-inch balls Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet With thomb make imprint in center of each cookie Bake for 10 to 14 minutes until edges are light brown Let cool completely In a smaller bowl combine all filling ingredients until smooth and place a very scant teaspoon of this filling onto the center of each cookie
