GREEN BEANS CAESAR

1-1/2 pounds fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon margarine or butter, melted

Heat beans and 1 inch salted water (1/2 teaspoon salt to 1 cup water) to boiling. Cook uncovered 5 minutes. Cover and cook until tender, 10 to 15 minutes; drain.
Toss beans, oil vinegar, onion, salt, garlic and pepper. Pour into ungreased 1-quart casserole. Mix bread crumbs, cheese and margarine; sprinkle over beans. Sprinkle with paprika. Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven until heated through. 15 to 20 minutes. , 5 servings.

Microwave Directions: place 1/3 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon salt and the beans in 2-quart
microwavable casserole. Cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) 8 minutes; stir. Cover and microwave until tender, 7 to 11 minutes longer; drain. Toss beans, oil, vinegar, onion, 1/4 teaspoon salt, the garlic and pepper. cover tightly and microwave on high (100%) w minutes; stir. Mix bread crumbs, cheese and margarine; sprinkle over beans. Sprinkle with paprika.
