3/4 CUP MILK, 3 TABLESPOONS FLOUR - STIR OVER HEAT UNTIL THICK. COOL IN REFRIGERATOR. AFTER MIXTURE IS COOL ADD THE FOLLOWING: 3/4 CUP SUGAR, 3/4 CUP SHORTENING, 6 TABLESPOONS BUTTER, 3 TABLESPOONS ? BEAT 5 MINUTES

3 RECIPES/1 RECIPE OF BATTER 3:1

COOKIE:
3/4 CUP SPRY, 2 CUPS SUGAR, 2 EGGS - BEAT UNTIL THICK AND CREAMY. ADD 4 CUPS FLOUR, 10 TABLESPOONS COCOA, 3 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER, 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA, 2 CUPS OF MILK. MIX SUGAR MIXTURE AND FLOUR MIXTURE INTO THE MILK.

LIGHTLY GREASE PAN. 350 DEGREES - 10 MINUTES
