CLARA'S CHERRY PIE

MIX in a bowl and set aside while you make your pie crust:
6 cups frozen cherries
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp minute tapioca
1/2 teaspoon almond flavor
1/2 cup water
few drops red food coloring

Bake in oven for approx 50 minutes (till top is golden brown)

glass pie plate - 400 degrees

metal pie plate - 425 degrees
