1 large box strawberry jello
1-1/2 cups boiling water - use juice from pineapple as part of liquid
add
2- 10 ounce boxes of frozen strawberries partly thawed
1 cup of small can crushed Pineapple, drained
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
pour half of this in 8 x 10 baking dish, put in refrigerator. Let other half sit at room temperature while making icing for between layers. it sets quickly as the berries are cold.
Icing
1 small Philadelphia cream cheese - let get very soft first
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 pkg dream whip prepared as directed on box, then beat in cream cheese and lemon juice
spread on jello- pour remaining jello over this, put in refrigerator
