STUFFED ACORN SQUASH

2 acorn squash (about 1 lb. each)
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, cut in pieces
1 cup hot water
2 cups STOVE TOP" Chicken flavor flexible Serving Stuffing Mix
1 package (8 oz.) brown 'n serve sausage links, chopped
1 tablespoon brown sugar


MICROWAVE: Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds and fiber. Pour water into microwavable dish to just cover bottom. Place squash halves cut sides down in dish. Cook at HIGH 1O minutes. Meanwhile, combine butter and 1 cup hot water in bowl; stir until butter is partially melted. Add remaining ingredients and stir gently until water is absorbed. Spoon into squash cavities. Cook 8 minutes longer or until squash is tender.

Makes 4 servings.
