ITALIAN BUNS

3-1/2 - 4 cups flour
2 pkg dry yeast
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 cup milk
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp butter or oleo
1 egg
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter melted

mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, season - mixture. In pan heat milk, water, butter until warm. Add to flour mixture - add egg - blend at low speed til moistened then beat 3 minutes medium speed - by hand stir in 1/2 cup cheeses and enough remaining flour to make a firm dough - knead till smooth and elastic - about 3-5 minutes place in greased bowl - turning greased side up - cover and let rise in warm oven - 15 minutes (turn oven on to lowest setting 1 minuted then turn off)
punch down and divide into 16 pieces - form ball dip top into melted butter and 1/4 cup cheese - place in greased 13 x 9 pan, cover and let rise - bake at 375 degrees
